چکیده

Introduction and Objectives: Oral hygiene is performed through mechanical brushing use of dental floss. In contact with the mouth, toothbrush becomes contaminated. The ways they are stored, washed, dried can also influence to contamination. This study evaluated effectiveness different chemical disinfectants in disinfecting used toothbrushes. Materials Methods: 30 toothbrushes, from individuals, were collected after (more than days), divided into three groups: G1-disinfection 0.12% chlorhexidine; G2-disinfection 0.2% peracetic acid; and, G3-disinfection 3% hydrogen peroxide, immersion times 10 20 minutes. Prior disinfection, brushes cultured trycasein soy broth (TSB) (48h/37°C) then plated on Mannitol, Sabouraud MacConkey agar culture media. They disinfected, randomly groups G1, G2 G3, for minutes, washed sterilized water incubated again TSB (48h/37°C). After incubation, cultures mentioned Results: acid disinfectant was most efficient, followed by chlorhexidine peroxide. Conclusion: Peracetic not a product easily accessible general population, therefore, be recommended, according results obtained this vitro evaluation.

Uma Avaliação de Eficiência e Eficácia da Combinação de Técnicas para Deduplicação de Dados

Data Deduplication is the task of identifying and eliminating duplicate records in a single database. It is a complex process that involves several steps, including: defining blocking key, similarity function and indexing method. There are several approaches for each of these steps. In this context, the objective of this work is to find the best combination for such algorithms aiming to improve...

Avaliação da eficiência de dois programas na eliminação de ruído para técnica de subtração

The aim of this study was to compare the quality of image registration of two computer programs by means of digital subtraction radiography (DSR). The sample comprised 294 direct digital periapical radiographs. This sample was obtained from a previous study in which 49 mandibular teeth (central incisors, laterals incisors, cuspids and bicuspids), were radiographed with 6 different x-ray beam an...

Avaliação da Localidade de Dados Intermediários na Execução Paralela de Workflows Bigdata

Processing huge data sets has been a challenge in science and business. Systems implementing the MapReduce programming model have obtained a great success and being followed by more expressive languages and refined processing techniques. In this paper, we are interested in evaluating the impact on data locality on the execution of Big Data processing in scientific workflows. We observe that, du...

Avaliação da Qualidade de Documentos de Requisitos Orientado a Aspectos

Recent proposals have looked at the requirements stage, using the aspect oriented programming, trying to separate and after to compose the concerns that are spread and tangled in the requirement document. New factors appear in these requirements documents, such as, crosscutting concerns, size and coupling are not qualitative evaluated, because there are not these metrics. This paper shows a set...

Avaliação da qualidade de agrupamentos em grafos

The process of discovering groups of similar, connected vertices in a graph, known as graph clustering, has interesting applications in several scenarios, such as biology, marketing and recommendation systems. A major challenge concerning this problem is the evaluation of cluster quality, which is used to measure the e ectiveness of clustering algorithms. Many quality metrics for graph cluster ...
